60"S DRAGSTER
Just ran across some pictures of a dragster I aquired from a guy who worked for Don Garlits, must have been late 80's, early 90's.
I believe Don purchased dragster. Was a record holder I think in the 60's up in New England States. Running a hemi. At one time I had all the paper work . It had a small block chevy when I got it.Can't remember What I took it on trade for, maybe a T-bucket.
Cage was to small I never got to run it

CUSTOMER MERC
Bob
Here,s a photo of my 1964 Mercury Monterey Marauder.
"I re-wired my 1964 Mercury with the Rebel 9+3 harness. This was my first time wiring a car by myself: the Rebel instructions and Bob's advice made the job pretty straightforward. I'm very happy with the quailty of the harness, it's a good value. I am especially thrilled with the great customer support when I needed troubleshooting help. I will use Rebel in the future, and recommend Rebel Wire to my friends."

UNIVERSAL TIRE PROJECT BUILD
With the help of 15-20 guys from Volksrod.com, for Mike Meet to help out whith the build.
The car has gone through 4 different design phases since the inception. John Jaransen, a designer for Ford and VW enthusiast is responsible for all the drawings and the concept. We originally started with a closed cab sporting a Model A type of bed. Oncewe had the car cut and the bed partially assembled I didn't like the roof on the car and hated the idea of a Model A bed. Everyone uses a Model A bed so why not do something different.
By chance we had a set of Type 3 fenders sitting in the shop that day and held them up to the side of the bed and at that point, we changed the direction of the build. Off came the top and the T3 rear fenders were to be th basis of the bed.
Stay tuned for more on this fabulous custom.

SELECTING AUTOMOTIVE WIRE
We have been getting a lot of calls about this wire.We now have it listed on our web site
TXL, GXL, AND SXL are all crosslinked polyethylene. All are almost as heat resistant as teflon, but cheaper and much tougher.
TXL For use in automotive applications where small diameter minimal weight is desirable.
For comparsion we will use 14ga wire.
19/27 strands, insulation thickness .016, temp range -51C to +125C
It is the thinnest and lowest cost of these three wires.
GXL This is pretty much the standard for most wire harness company's.
It has insulation thickness and cost between TXL and SXL.
19/27 strands, insulation thickness .023, temp range -51C to +125C
SXL This is the wire REBEL WIRE has chosen for our kits.
Provides higher reliability in heat resistance than conventional general wires due to
emission bridging, provides excellent abrasion protection with thicker insulation,
Improved resistance to cut through, deformation and chemical attack.
19/27 strands, insulation thickness .035, temp range -40C to +125C
We believe SXL to be the best choice of wire for a longer lasting, trouble free harness.
All wire used in REBEL WIRE kits is manufactured in USA.
